‘Vodafone abolishes roaming charges in Europe this summer’

Vodafone are pleased to announce the abolishment of roaming charges on Vodafone Passport in over 35 countries in Europe as well as Australia and New Zealand this summer 2009. I’m sure you’ll agree this is a great proposition for the customer in particular with summer looming; this also will help aid conversion and drive sales.

What does this mean?

From 1 June to 31 August all customers who opt into Vodafone Passport can take their UK home rates for calls, texts and picture messaging abroad with them at no extra cost. This includes any inclusive calls, text and picture messages sent back to the UK and within the Vodafone Passport country they are visiting. NB- Data is excluded

When is this happening?

This will apply for a 3 month period for June, July and August 2009.
